Counting my blessings today…It was a rainy and stormy night last night - I was all snuggled in bed, cozy and content when about 10:45 the phone rang…my heart sunk, I got that sick feeling in my stomach – no one calls that late with good news…My husband answered the phone while I held my breath waiting to hear “what was wrong” – I have received too many of ”those” calls…. Thankfully it was just a friendly neighbor telling us we had left our garage door up, relieved but still shaken it was a good reminder not to take our loved one’s for granted…
