Marti's Story
I was thousands of miles away when my mother was diagnosed with cancer. Although I couldn't be next to her, I wanted her to know that I loved her. I wanted to care for her the way she had always cared for me.

I was thousands of miles away when my mother was diagnosed with cancer. Although I couldn't be next to her, I wanted her to know that I loved her. I wanted to care for her the way she had always cared for me.
I started Spoonful of Comfort to support my mother during her time of need. I was thousands of miles away when she was diagnosed with cancer, and although I couldn’t be by her side, I wanted her to know that I loved her. I wanted to care for her the way she had always cared for me. There’s nothing like a warm bowl of soup to brighten someone’s day and make them feel better.
Spoonful of Comfort is a legacy for my mother. She has since passed, but her memory lives on through every single soup package and gift we send. We strive to evoke the tastes, memories, and feelings of home through thoughtful packages that console, inspire, and uplift those who need it most. We hope a package from Spoonful of Comfort makes people feel like they have come home, no matter where they might be, just like my mom.
