Homemade Cookies N’ Cream Ice Cream, Without an Ice Cream Maker!

Today, we want to share with you that creating your own delicious, homemade cookies n’ cream ice cream is now possible, even if you do not have an ice cream maker. With some creativity, you can create this favorite concoction with the use of an electric hand mixer.
Homemade Cookies N’ Cream Ice Cream Ingredients:
• 1 cup - Milk
• 1 cup - Sugar
• 1/2 tbsp - vanilla extract
• 1 cup - half and half
• 2 cups - whipping cream (chilled)
• 1 1/2 - 2 cups - chocolate cookies
• Dash of salt
Break Down the Cookies
First, break down the chocolate cookies into small bite-size bits. Place the cookie crumbles in a bowl, measure, and then set aside.
Now, pour the milk into a saucepan. Using medium heat, gently simmer it at around 175°F or small bubbles arise. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in sugar and salt to the milk. Stir occasionally until the sugar and salt has been melted into the mixture.
Mix Remaining Ingredients
Add the vanilla, half and half, and the chilled whipping cream. Mix all ingredients are well blended together.
Chill and Let The Ice Cream Mixture Cool
Let the ice cream mixture sit in the refrigerator for a few hours to get a good ice creamy consistency. This cooling process will give the mixture a better quality and will create an ice cream with a smoother texture.
